Frequently asked questions
How do I book the first session?
On the Book page, tap «Choose my time». You will see my free slots. Pick a day and time, and you will get a confirmation by email. You don't need to tell me why you are coming: we can talk about it in the session.
What is the first session like?
It is a conversation to get to know each other. You tell me what brings you here and I ask what I need to understand it. At the end I tell you how I see it and what we could work on. You decide whether we carry on. It lasts 75 minutes; the following sessions, 60 minutes.

More questions (6)
What if I don't know what to say?
That is very common. You don't need to bring anything prepared or in order. We start wherever you can, and I will guide you with questions.
Is it confidential?
Yes. What you tell me is protected by professional secrecy and by data protection law. There are only a few specific exceptions set by law, such as a serious risk to you or to someone else. If that ever happened, I would explain it to you. I follow the Code of Ethics of Psychology (Código Deontológico de la Psicología, in Spanish).
Can you work with my child's school?
Yes, if the family gives consent. I can meet with the class tutor, the school counselling team and the teachers. We share guidelines and follow up together, so that what we work on in sessions also makes sense at home and in class. I only share what is necessary, always respecting confidentiality.
Does online therapy work just as well?
The way we work is the same; only the place changes. You just need a quiet, private space to talk and a stable connection. You also save on travel, and you are somewhere you already know.
How often are the sessions?
In the first month, one session a week. After that, every two weeks, depending on the person.
How do I book for someone under 18?
If the sessions are for someone under 18, the booking and consent must come from their mother, father or legal guardian. When you book in my calendar, please enter your own details as the responsible adult.
